Mgr. Helena Zahradníčková
Mgr. Helena Zahradníčková was born in 1971 in the town of Kroměříž where she also attended her first piano lessons in the class of Dagmar Michoňková at a local music school. She pursued her studies at Vejvanovsky Conservatory in Kroměříž in the class of Mgr. Vladimír Bílek. She took part in various courses and competitions during her studies. Consequently with the final year at the conservatory she was accepted to Janáček Akademy of Art in Brno in 1990, where she attended classes of doc. Eva Fischerová-Martvoňová. Apart from the solo piano playing she also dedicated to chambre playing. She graduated in 1995, nevertheless, since 1992 she had been tutoring at Church Conservatory in Kroměříž and also at Vejvanovsky Conservatory in Kroměříž, where she has been offered the post of a deputy director in 2000. She has been performing the function ever since.
In addition to solo piano lessons she also tutors Methodology for piano playing, to which she has dedicted her time in the long term. She attends courses at Methodological Center in JAMU Brno so that she could keep broadining her horizons in this field. She is a well-liked consultant for young competitors of music schools.
Many of her alumni of the conservatory have been awarded various prizes and both czech and international awards (e.g. International Piano Competition of Bedřich Smetana, Competition of Conservatory, Piano Competition Pro Bohemia).
She is a holder of an award of exceptional pedagogic prepartion (International Competition of Young Performers 2007). All of her students pursued their studies at some of the music universities (e.g. AMU Prague, JAMU Brno and VŠMU Bratislava).
She has also been tutoring at Elementary Music School in Kroměříž.back to Piano
